Liberals refuse to accept the fact that guns are used to prevent more crimes than they cause. In fact, guns never cause crime, people do. Guns are a tool that can be used either way. They are used for personal protection more often than to commit crimes.

Firearms are the great equalizer. A small lady with a gun can face off with a large man who intends to attack her. A gun in her hands instantly makes her equal to or even superior to her attacker.

In nearby Gates County, N.C. yesterday, two men tried to rob a clerk at a convenience store. They beat him up pretty good until he was able to get to his gun. He was treated and released and has a boot-print shaped bruise. The robbers are in the morgue.

Yes, that is why the government is so anti-gun. And the fact that the government may become more and more controlling is why our forefathers put the second amendment in the constitution in the first place.

The second amendment is not about the sporting use of firearms, it is about the citizens being armed against the government.

It is interesting to note that the anti gun liberals often turn out to own guns. Some were caught when they brought one out to protect their own home from a burglar.

Well sure, it's ok for THEM to own guns. They are so much more intelligent and superior to us riff-raff. We just need to be supervised by the likes of them. You cannot possibly run your life or make decisions without their help. Thank God they are around.....
