    So do you think it was the temp reading off or the pressure. A software glitch seems unlikely. Did you check what the actual temp was reading? Also you could have picked up a static charge from the plastic case that temporarily messed with the thermocouple circuit and gave you a false temp reading and the meter was just calculating with the garbage measurement.

    The temp was off. hoses were not on unit.
    I don't know what is was but I got a new one today.....clover is a happy camper and likes Fieldpiece alot.

    How would get a static charge off a plastic case? Wouldn't it discharge after connecting it to the copper line?

    They were parked but I put the clamp on the line.

    My van has Berber carpet----non-static smart ass lol
