    Nevermind, sorry guys....didn't quite see the post about it being the variable orifice motor. Maybe next time...

    I had same problem. High oil temp when running below 40% load, unit would shut down 180 deg. plus. We found Refrigerant level control turned off. After all this work to find problem, it was something simple.
