    Id be suspect of the ductwork to be undersized. Stuff like that happens all the time around here, Too many hack contractors getting the job done as quick as possible...

    i worked at a resort that has about 150 condos as motel rooms in the Florida panhandle. In an 8 x 12 enclosed room with an air inlet and exhaust fan they would have between 5 and 8 condenser units in there. On a hot day it was not uncommon for the air temp in the rooms to be 135 degrees. the bad part wasn't breathing the hot air but my tools were so hot that I couldn't touch them without rags or gloves. We always had half a dozen condenser units on hand because they only lasted a year or two......OR it could have been because they were goodman.
