I'm looking to hire someone to install a new HVAC system in our Center City row home.
You will have the following qualifications and be able to complete the following tasks:
Qualifications:
> Are a certified HVAC technician;
> Can provide references from at least three customers / clients;
> Have experience installing high efficiency systems in row homes with minimal returns;
> Have access to any supplies, including refrigerant, necessary to complete the job;
> Are willing to accept payment only after completion of the entire job.
Tasks:
> Remove existing gas furnace and dispose of it;
> Install new high efficiency furnace and integrated central air conditioner;
> Install necessary supply and return lines (including chases);
> Install air purifying equipment that accompanies furnace;
> Install integrated thermostat.
I will purchase the equipment (including parts) myself and pay you only for labor. You may be asked for advice on the system (probably to be bought on Removed addy).
If you are interested, please email me.
Thanks.

Never said i was going to deal with him..at all!
I found this on craigslist and posted it in the WOS to show how customers think they can dictate how we are to do every aspect of our job. And then when their Removed direct buy link POS Goodman craps out and they want warranty service, you're on the hook to tell them the great news about buying HVAC equipment online.
Maybe when your get your post count up you will be more familiar with our flavor of humor.Last edited by Stamas; 05-19-2012 at 09:51 PM.

OK, let me try to explain in a way you may understand. I'll use small words:
This is not my ad, it is an ad from craigslist that someone in Philly posted looking for someone to help them.
I posted it on here so we, as veteran techs, can laugh at it.
I'm not advertising this, i'm not responding to his ad..i'm laughing that he actually thought he would get someone to go along with his offer.
Maybe this forum isnt the place for you...Every customer you take for granted today will be someone else's tomorrow.
