    The metering device is inside the condenser thus the sight glass and dryer are not necessary nor effective?

    Not romex, 18 guage going to the indoor unit. (unless you're talking about the whiteish tubing on the 4X4. That's the condensate tubing off the pump.)I cut out the drier and sight glass, replaced a capacitor for compressor A, it was leaking oil and reading too little uf, and blew out the condenser coil.

    I actually saw this same thing done for a server room the other day on a new building I picked up. I Informed the building owner and he replied with " It still keeps my server cool so why should I pay you to remove the part... " I think I should just run from this building lol
