    I'm...ummmm...speechless...

    Gotta move...no money...looking for a decent fixer upper...my beloved brought these pics home from her latest search.

    Down flow missing its squirrel cage...no biggie...2.5 ton Janitrol condenser, sigh but can live with that for now...



    ...A coil...




    ...guess where that 4" flex leads...




    ...if you guessed, "Pulling unfiltered fresh air from the crawl space...thru a hole in the master bedroom closet floor...that's not screened off from creepy crawlies.", you're right by golly...

    My first question is... WHY??? would anyone remove the coil from the air handler and mount it somewhere else in the return?

    Because its a electric down flow moblie home unit. Usually the flex leads to roof and has a power open damper for fresh air. This are terrible for dirty evp coils be cause filter lay right on evp coil. . Usually if blower motor is bad its because dirty evp and blower pulls water out of pan. Also sucks workin on heat section layin on someones diirty floor. I hate everything about moblie homes

    Oh yes...after I saw the wiring this guy did...I knew why there was no power on---the place woulda gone up like tinder box. Gives me the sparkly tinglies just looking at the pix...
