heresite factory coating

Hi,
Does anyone know which manufacturer does heresite coating for there units? The sizes I'm looking for are 18000, 24000, 36000, 36000 vertical units. Thanks a lot.

I know Trane has a coating for their coils. I am not sure if it is heresite. We just changed four Trane units out from standard coils to Heresite. We even installed all stainless screws and had the sheet metal painted an acid resistant paint.

York offers Heresite as a standard option.

Also, Heresite is a just brand name of a phenolic coating. There are other phenolic coaters in the market.

I have a water treatment plant that cant keep freon inside their units I found a company called bronze glow coatings
I think that is the right name they also give a 5 or ten year warranty .If Iam wrong on the name I will repost

Carboline is another brand of coating you may want to look into.

Trane has been giving me Adsil coatings lately.

Factory applied by the coating guys is always the best.

With heresite you want it dipped in the stuff in the first place.

BronzGlow is out of Florida, and has worked pretty good against salt on a few chillers I have been keeping my eye on.

Electro-fin is another one I have seen, but the few units it was on were replaced -- salt water immersion.

Not impressed with Carriers ecoat-- black stuff.

If anybody is interested in a full coating comparison spread sheet let me know. Thermoguard can apply factory coating or field coatings including anti microbial application in about thirty places. Saltspray 10 000 hours, up to ten years warranty.

Curious on the warranty. If the coil rots out do they get another jug of coating?

we maintain and if necessary touch up. Not adding layer after layer. The warranty comes with replacement coil warranty. We have a big number of references.

10 years old, after a cat 5 hurricane, salt spray environment

Its in the Caribbean. That is an old BronzGlow coated coil, I believe the gold paint stenciling reacted with the coating in this case.

I have a job that is a couple years old now with quite a few units that are adsil coated. Will be keeping an eye on that one.
