    I'll give you two answers.

    1. You do not NEED a degree to work on most equipment and never will. If you only want to be a TECH all of your life.

    2. YES, get the degree! It WILL come in handy as you move up and want to be a manager/owner. Many large companies look for facility managers with degrees.

    It's a lot of work now while your young but, it WILL pay off when your older.
