Looks brand new . .

It is brand new, started up in November. Bearing failed, wore away at the shaft enough for the blower to snag on the housing. 2 pillow blocks, blower wheel and shaft change for me next week.

thats crazy usually engineered air stuff is top notch must have been a lemon of a bearing.

Well at least it's new. Changing out all that on a unit thats been in service for years, that's a bizznatch.

A new saw-zall blade make's it a lot easier. Unless its new or in decent shape a scrambled blower wheel gets a new shaft and bearings.

Its a wash when you consider labor time to dissasemble with wd 40 sand paped and a puller.

I agree with you there Nic. I had the pleasure of touring the plant a couple years back, they've got a couple of crazy scientists working in R&D. I work on a lot of their equipment and it's by far my favorite. For the most part they just work.
