Whats commercial HVAC like in TX?

Ok, now to try and put it in perspective.
What do you guys think would be worse.
Working in Portland / 6 months of cold rain / 2 months of burning hot
or TX heat? not sure how long your summers are, 4 months?

My perspective is.....that Texas heat feels like MONEY !!

i lived in tacoma wa when i was a kid, and visited portland alot, loved it up there. Now as far as texas heat, ..if i was a single man, id be in Portland, or Seattle, lol, every year i say im gonna die in this texas heat

I guess that grass is always greener on someone else's lawn.
I could handle the heat for a short time, but wasn't it last year you you guys had like 90 days straight of over 100?

yeah, last year was not the normal year for sure. Its always hot here, more humid than hot, but last year was just plain scorching. I had a mild heat stroke last year, was a scary deal for sure

root canals eh? No I do not but I know my body and how temperature can be dangerous in some situations. I do love bass fishing and usually out hiking foothills in and around my area in mid/late summer, sometimes the temps can hit 103-105 in areas around the resevoir sometimes higher and I am hiking 3-4 miles with gear weighting 10-20lbs on my back. I can handle temperature but also understand a 103-107 temp near a lake isn't nothing compared to a dry heat up in a attic that can range from 130-145 on hot summer day. Foolish I am not, just excited to get into the trade. Maybe in three to four years from now I will be a darker shade of brown and have another view point

Texas extreme summer is basically memorial day to labor day.

I have lived about equal times in Wichita Falls and Dallas are. Dallas climate is milder both winter and summer.

Texas heat will keep you lean and mean..... 5'11", 185 here, at age 52....

This will be my first full summer in TX (moved here end of August last year). I'm 6' 3" and on the north edge of 3 bills......guessing I can expect to drop a pound or two by the end of summer then, eh?

I typically drop about 20lbs during the Texas summer. (What can I say we have a slow winter and momma is a great cook)
