Copper termites hit that place hard.

Had one of my rental houses being rehabbed was broken into, they took the copper upstairs out of the framing. They got a big surprise the first step down the basement was a big one since we took out the staircase that day. The guy must have broke something because he left the basement copper alone and left some of what he pulled out behind.

a house burned down up the road from me last month and within 3 days all copper pipe and wire gone!! I used to leave the roll of lineset hung by unit before tie in but no more tie in right away and take rest of roll.
