    "Just had maintenance done Yesterday"!

Went to a friend's mothers home. She was told by the co.. that has been doing her maintenance for 8-10 years her older systems need replaced. They are quite old, 1979 GE A/H with a 1990 York ODU, 3.5t and a 1986 York Champion1.5t system, (going by style and color for age). The only sign of maintenance were the filters and new valve caps. Read the ticket and said they were serviced and all in working order. She has a sales call schedule today by the servicing co.

True, you can't polish a turd but you can do your best with what you have.
They didn't even clear out the leaves. This left a good amount of room to question their work. It should have looked like a well maintained turd.
“I am for doing good to the poor, but...I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”

What do you expect after 10 years of regular maintenance?
