Uniweld Nitrogen Flow Indicator

Anyone using nitrogen flow indicators while brazing? I'm inclined to think its a good idea.

Is the metering tube on top glass or plastic? (Uniweld) I asked @ my local JS typical answer ( Not Sure).

Its glass and I highly recommend using one. Very easy to dial in a low psi for brazing.

THe uniweld one I am pretty sure is plastic. I have a small crack in the outer tube.. Good instrument. Highly recommended.

I use a needle valve on the regulator outlet. Thought about buying the Turbo Torch flowmeter.

The Turbo Torch One is the one I am going with. It is $40 at our carrier supplier in scarbrough. I seen it at the Trade show its a solid piece made to last but like any gauge can be broken.

There is an inner tube that reads the measurments and the outer protective sleeve, they are both plastic. Johnstone Supply has them on sale right now, only for the month of april I think.
