I guess I should of added I am a journeyman refer mechanical ..licensed gas fitter... hold an electrical license...own an hvac company.. getting old..

I sure will join... as far as knowledge..... there seems to be lots here all ready... I have been doing this for 30years and learn everyday.... in the hvac trade if you get cocky you get bit in the behind fast...

The gentleman I bought my company said something to me many many years ago..... I became a journeyman under him.... the monday morning after I returned from the inter provincial exam his words were....... Congratulations now you know enough to be dangerous so be care full . he was a great man.. passed away a few years ago.. taught me lots and I still miss the old fart...

The sad thing is, more and more of those older skilled tradesmen are retiring or dying.
And it is hard to find the dedicated younger ones that want to get into this trade.

I sure agree with you there.. at 430 everyday stay off the roads near me as all my service trucks are speeding home... the work ethic of the newer generation is not like it used to be ..or is the new generation smarter than we were. And wow is it hard to find good help as well.....
