Anyone have info in regards to a Babcok & Wilcox boiler? Customer has (2) FMD-1387, 40,000 LBS an HR, 250 PSI. The problem was that we are not able to blow down the mud drum, they allowed us enough time to take one boiler offline but only enough time to open man way on mud drum and check out the line. It appears there is a 1" line (sch 160) that runs the length of mud drum. It collapsed on the outlet just before exiting drum. Now my only question, is this pipe for the blow down perforated along the bottom of the pipe or just solid the entire length? We have tried contacting the rep but no luck. We have to send a small guy in so hopefully bolts dont have to be rewelded since our certified welders are fat.

Thanks
