Temperature calibration tools
I was curious what type of thermometers the techs here like to use when calibrating fryers and flattop grills...... Anyone?

K type Atkins solid metal probes are used on fryers and for flat tops there is a teflon probe with a metal center. you can buy a kit with these parts. Some companies (Whaley Food Service) for example supply these probes to their techs. Large franchises like Mc D's require each location to have an Atkins kit with all the accessories.
