Master cool products and customer service

Also, has anyone used Mastercool hoses? I was surprized that they wouldn't take the time to corss reference their hose to those of a yellow jacket hose i use for evactuation. THis is a company doens't want help its customer find a comparable hose of a yellow jacket brand i have absolutley no intetest purchasing a product that a comapny doesn't want to make a sale with. I stick with my yellow jacket 2 hose for evacuation since the company/owner doens't want to waste his time taking care of his customers needs( mastercool.....AS You can tell im not afraid to spend money but if i'm treated poorly that company can sink and die fo all i care for the lack of disrespect givent to prospective customers; we run a multi-million dollar hvac business and if i'm treated in such a manner i won't only not use their product i will instruct other in the industry to not use their a company with that demeiner i was treated as. I don't act like a big shot. I'f you treat he little guy like garbage i have no respect for you or your company. It make me sick to say the least. Sorry for the rant but i was disqusted in the way if was treated.

I have heard two stories of Mastercool vacuum pumps having catastophic failures resulting in the front of the pump being violently seperated from the housing shortly after start up. I would suggest not a brand you want or need.

    Confused

I don't know if warranty is the issue. It might just be product durability and their willingness to help potential customers. I went ahead and purchase yellow jacket hoses. I'm willing to try new products but if customer service wont' take the time to help me forget about it. Sorry, but if you dont take care of customers or potential customers their is not reasono to give them business at all. Maybe things will change.

I purchase MANy tools from all types of manufacturers and was not pleased in the respones i got and i let them know about it. I have not gotten a response back so far so i'll be spending my money on tried and true brands and products.

ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN BUY BRAND NEW DIGICOOL DRSA 1250's? The new AK900's i got are make in taiwan which i;m not happy about but people dont want to pay for quality tools and this is what a happens....

TruTech tools handles digicool, or contact Doug and Brenda direct. I buy direct so Doug and Brenda get some extra $$$ to develop products.

Forgive me if I have misunderstood your gripe. It seems to, me your asking a manufacturer to research a competitors product range and then advise you on what model or line to buy. Why not ring Ford and tell them this is the Chevy you want, can you give me a vehicle with the same specs.

This is an entirely different situation from a company that makes (lets say)
Automotive wiper blades, and publishes a cross reference table for various manufacturers

Actually, companies try to accommodate potential customers comparing their products with that of competitor (perhaps why theirs is better than another). I gave the specs of the product I was in need of, which is a universal size on almost every residential condenser and vacuum pumps. I gave the sizes, and also included that of their competitors model for reference, that I was in need of, and they would not help me locate that product. I was told to go to a certain page on their website, which i did, and could not locate the hose I needed or if it even existed.
I don't know how your company operates, but if a potential customer asks for a certain product and uses another brand as a reference we will find a comparable product that we sell and provide this information to said potential customer. It's called Customer Service and most people demand this especially in a competitive market. I don't patronize business that don't provide excellent customer service because that is the first step in how you vision what type of service, and future service, you may receive. They teach this at almost every tech class to begin with before they go into troubleshooting and technical information. Knowing how to communicate with your customers is just as important as knowing how to repair problems. If you can't communicate you can forget about operating a success business or career.
The first thing customers perceive, and draw opinions, about a company is how they are treated or what type of service they may expect to obtain from customer service provided to them. First impressions are everything because making a second one is nearly impossible to acquire.
This is the reason i became so upset. I try and give a newer smaller company a chance and i get horrible customer service. I don't care if they make the greatest product ever! I would never buy just for the simple fact i was given poor customer service. I tried contacing more than once and never recieved a response on my second email.....
