I need to replace a time delay relay in a GE starter cabinet that serves an old Carrier 19dg. Both the coil and the load side are 480 Volts and my suppliers are telling me that can't get a TDR to handle the voltage in either the coil or contacts. My electric suppier did come up with a heavy duty relay that could be mated to a pneumatic timer for $$$$. I was thinking about rigging a 120 Volt TDR and letting it energize a DP contactor with the 480 load running through it. Any one else that has a better solution I would appreciate hearing from you.
