I personally don't like it. Everytime I've used it, which isn't often, I've had TXV problems after.
Has anyone tried that leak stop? I cant find the leak & wondering how good that stuff works.

i used it once on a nordyne heatpump,2 days later compressor locked up,hp was only 6 yrs old, never again.
I worked on a package unit, heatpump for a mobile home. The guys sons do a/c up north. It sealed the shrader valves shut, I had to change them to get a pressure reading. It wasn't low on charge. There was a sticker that says it's in there and when it was put in, it's been in there for 5 years.
Right now we have a syringe of the best-tech brand waiting to be put in a customers system, he called and requested that brand. Doesn't want us to do anything but put it in.
used it once per request of "slum-lord" never been called back. did it work don't know
"Leak Stop" is just another bad joke or a short cut to keep from finding the leak. The idiots who make this stuff don't care what the long term effects are. They're just selling it to make money. If all leaks were easy to find there would be 10 year old girls doing our job. I use high pressure, then low pressure (5 lbs.) and if I have to I kill all the noise and use my ears. My worst was a leaf only above 200psi on a factory weld high side leak into the receiver that blew 1 bubble every 10 minutes. Brand new Delfield and a lot of explanation to tech support to get the four hours it took to find it covered under warranty. 10 minute repair once I located it. Then there is lways the leak that happens after you leave hqving pulled a good vacuum with no leaks. It's the access valve stupid.
easyseal i have use twice,it work good to stop the leak, but is easyseal have same effect like leakstop?
I don't remember the exact brand, but the directions read, recover refrigerant and pull a vacuum on the system down to 300 microns.....Wait a minute....After reading that, I'm not sure I would use it...
Dont use it. The leak is there just keep looking for it.
