Bryant or American Standard
House is 2450 Sqft and am about to replace system.
Now looking at the following:
Bryant
Model 315 Plus 80v Gas Furnace pn315AAV048090 with the Model 226A Heat Pumppn ANA036.
Am Std
Platinum SV Freedom 80 furnace pn Add2B060A9V3VA and Platinum ZM Heritage 20 pn 4A6H6036E1000A heat pump.
Thoughts and comments welcome, espicially if you can tell me which might be the better system.

4A6H6036 is not a Heritage 20. It's the "16 SEER" with the unloading scroll compressor.

Questions.
What is your location?
What mdl evap coil quoted for each system? Makes a difference as far as performance/efficiency numbers.
New linesets included?
Evolution thermostat included with Bryant quote? What thermostat with AmStd system?
You will note the AmStd furnace quoted is smaller. Probably should be the 80
KBTU model.
What about a filter media cabinet?
Depending on your location, I would not want a HP without electronic demand defrost.
What size furnace and AC are you replacing.
Post back.

I've decided to go with Bryant but will not sign anything til tomorrow.
Questions.
What is your location?
Sammamish Washington, just east of Seattle.
What mdl evap coil quoted for each system? Makes a difference as far as performance/efficiency numbers.
No idea but will find out tomorrow.
New linesets included?
Yes, it is now with Bryant.
Evolution thermostat included with Bryant quote? What thermostat with AmStd system?
Pro 8000
You will note the AmStd furnace quoted is smaller. Probably should be the 80
KBTU model.
I thought it was low also but he indicated that he had done a measurement.
What about a filter media cabinet?
4" media filter, not named.
Depending on your location, I would not want a HP without electronic demand defrost.
Not sure if it is needed, we only get snow 2 or 3 times a year and it generally stays in the mid to low 30's from mid Dec to mid Feb.
What size furnace and AC are you replacing.
95K BTU Carrier and a 4 ton Trane AC, both over 14 years old.
Post back.
Thanks for any insight.
