Leaky accumulator
I have a Parker accumulator PR35083-8-3 it leaks at the valve stem. In 48hrs I lost 80#'s of nitrogen. The problem will be when I put it in Vac, charged it. I will loose some refrigerant. Any ideas well taken. Thanks.

That part number appears to be for a receiver. (Accumulators don't normally come with valves.)
If the valve has a packing nut, try tightening it. If not, just replace the receiver.

just changed a copeland receiver last week that walve. leaking through the closed highsdie access valve. tried true blue to control it but lasted 3 months on a 4 lb full charge. Learned my lesson

Thanks..You are correct it is a receiver. And yes, its better if I replaced.

if replacement is not an option try vac seal works much better than the blue stuff.
