    Combining hydro-air and radiant

I am working with a contractor on a 3500 SF new construction in Boston. We are likely going to use either a Buderus or Viessmenn boiler.

Can a system be designed that uses the boiler for both under floor radiant as well as hydro-air to supplement (there will be a lot of glass in this house)?

    Yes, very easily.
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

We do it all the time here in Minneapolis. But if you have a lot of glass, you should have a lot of radiant floor, wall and/or ceiling. Air is for cooling.

Your designer should be answering this question for you.

Done all the time but you should be educated to the variations before jumping in to prevent errors that can create operational nightmares. Viessmann has some excellent training right down the road in Rhode Island.
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.

If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!

    Skipped is right.

I still have to turn the radiant floor off in the summer for a client that likes to run AC and bsmt radiant at the same time...
