I just hit my 1 year anniversary with a Bryant Evolution system with zoning and I am trying to decide whether to put a 10 year parts and labor warranty in place. Any thoughts?

Too bad the forum police do not allow discussion of prices because this is legitimate information needed in the decision making process.
With that said, I think you should review and understand the details of your current warranty.
A Bryant Evolution system has two major and expensive components-the compressor and the var speed blower motor. I suggest you find out the replacement cost of these two items and how they are covered under your existing warranty. Also, find out the est labor cost to make the repair. Then weigh this information against the cost of the 10 yr parts/labor extended warranty. Of course, a lightening strike could all but ruin a system.
This would be my approach.

I'd say go with it for peace of mind alone.Coils are costly as well.

All components of the system have a 5 year warranty and the compressor has a 10 year warranty. Labor has a 1 year warranty. I am outside of the 1 year period so I would pay for labor but nothing for parts for another 4 years (9 years for the compressor). The cost of the 10 years parts and labor warranty ($xxxx) is non-trivial.

Skip the warranty and put the money instead on having a periodic system checkup, clean the fan blades that kind of stuff. Do it in the off season.
When somebody offers me a paid warranty, I don't know if I should laugh or be insulted, but I guess they are just doing their job.
