Comparing compressor repairs to Econ repairs IS a no brainier but a different kettle of fish when the OSA is above 75.... One matters while the other is meaningless.
You may have less chance to use economizers in your area.

Of course, I see one $xxx econ repair in about 10 years of use. Even so, when compared to rising electric rates, it is a cheaper repair than running those compressors all that time. We have good econ weather from Sept through April, so that's plenty of time not running and saving major kWh during that time.
