coil stats ?
working on turbo air reach in cooler. unit had two issues, one was a leak which i fixed.. While testing the unit, i found it would pull down to around 25 degrees and wouldn't satisfy..
so i put a new stat on it, i dont like coil stats and would much rather have a air stat, but i doos as i told, it was a ranco a21 i think, but dont quote me on that, it was still doing the same thing.
i had to get out of there as it was getting really busy, last temp i had was 26 and still running.They told me to use the brain God gave me.
I did.
Now I'm an Atheist. Ironic, isn't it?

i use a ranco a12-1560 used them for years no problems

Did you have the control's cap tube inserted in the coil properly with the recommended 6" into the coil? What setting did you have the control set at?
The A12-1560 has a mid-range or "normal off" of about 24ºF, which would be around #4 or #5 on the dial. Remember, the higher the number, the colder the cut-out temp.
