    Nope, come on guys, he read the installation instructions, it said to terminate the vent
    4' from a door, he missed the part about the 12" min. above expected snow fall, not to mention the whole "pipe diam. length, sizing chart thingy".

    Kinda' funny even though it is kinda' sad.

    Hey, just be aware there IS a plastic slinky vent listed to UL 1738 avaible in lieu of PVC that's catching on:

    Centrotherm's Innoflue polypropylene chimney liner flex and rigid system. I can take much higher temps than PVC and does not rely on a glued joint. In fact, the rigid pipes can be rotated even after installation. Sort of an 'O' ring joint. http://www.centrotherm.us.com/products/

    Anyway, I think this is a photo before the job was completed. I'm guessing he was planning on extending it to either his neighbor or mother-in-law's suite.
