Years ago, I fell off a roof. I was on the upper roof and slipped on a ship's ladder and ended up on the lower roof. I landed in a foot or more of snow on my back. I could not move or feel my legs. It was cold about -25c. I lay on the roof for about 1/2 hour or more. until I could wiggle my toes. Then I made the decision to move. I was able to get inside and sit for a longer period of time. I was lucky. could have been far worse. Pinched nerve. The building I was in changed their roof access policy after that. You now have to sign in to the security and check in every half hour, or they come looking for you. At least something good came of it.

I'm going on 58 and I would never have believed I'd be able to do what I do today years ago.
Like you say I work smarter- keep a pace, take a break, hydrate, and never sit down.....or I'll fall asleep. LOL.
