I've had the Fieldpiece PRH2 and the GE Psyclone for about three weeks and am pleased with both: Readings are quite consistent between the two and both appear to be well within their respective accuracies. Thanks to all who helped!

Free rubber band with the 25 buck replacement battery door 25 bucks. Ouch! Glad I never lost mine.
The alum. foil tape ended up working for me. Now since the cover stays on I need a fix for it turning on in the tool bag with the slightest bump to the power switch

The rubber bands are free period, the battery door is simply an option for those who need one. We are simply providing this free solution because the problem still exists and we have a lot of them out there. Low tech yes, effective, yes also. We purchased the rubber bands (25 lbs worth, color matched) and we are covering the shipping. It is a Free TTT service, and yes we will provide the rubber bands for free no matter where you bought the Testo 605-h2, or other similar product. (And this is only funny if you have not lost a $25.00 battery door.)

Yes, Cudos to Jim and TTT.
EFF testo they stepped up to nothing after years of this.
A battery door broke on my UEi meter twice and was replaced no questions asked.
For testo to charge for the Horsespit Battery Door that they can't get right is crazy stupid.

The aluminum tape hvaceric posted about worked for mine.
No way I would make Jim pay to send me a rubberband. That nuts.
