    frozen evaporator

I'm working on prep table 2 door reachin. It takes r12. So far i reinsulated the suction line, cleaded the codensor coils. repaced the thermostat, and the gaskets are fine. The old thermostat was a coil tempeture control but i may have put an air tempeture control on it. what can cause it to keep freezing up?

Don't switch the thermostat to an air sensing stat.

Those small units are designed to work with a coil sensing stat and will not work properly without it.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet on a leak somewhere.
