    Anyone from MO???

My wife and I live in Arkansas...she has family in Missouri and we were thinking about moving to Missouri during the slow 6 months of HVAC here in Arkansas, then moving back.

My question is....how is HVAC during the Fall/Winter months in Missouri?

You might want to be more specific of where you are thinking of going. Most places are slow during the January/February unless you are an in house guy.

I would have a hard time thinking anyone would agree to that sort of arrangement. Maybe if you wanted to work the summer months but not thru the winter around where I'm at. Half the places are vacant vacation homes!

I wouldn't waste your time. It was dead here this winter. I am in St Louis, but our company does service from St Louis to Farmington and a little further south.

    that would be silly,

my goal as an employee and as a father and husband/provider is to have a steady job and job security.

this can not be achieved by splitting jobs like a kansas city chiefs runningback by committee!
Find a job that keeps you busy year round and stick it out, stay for a long time and good things will happen!

I promise you none of the reputable companies will hire you with that intention!

in commercial work the old saying is that it takes 8 years for a guy to become very valuable.

I agree, by the time you learn the equipment and the customers it takes 8 years!

i am a dumbtard so it took me 10!

not attempting to make anybody feel bad, but i have not worked less than 2,200 hours in the last 10 years!

there is some sort of season that needs HVAC almost every day of the year in KC!

is it that different south of here?

Good riddenance Tebow, I'm glad to see him go but I'm tired of hearing about him already. Too bad he didn't go to Jax. Kc seems to think they don't need to make any big moves, and signing Denver and Oaklands cut players is always a good recipe for success!
