I also saw king crab legs for a reasonable price in my neck of the woods. We were supposed to pick some up but forgot. Thanks for reminding me.

We went to eat crab legs the other night and they must have been in a freezer with a ammonia leak. You could taste smell it on the meat.

Don’t worry, James, just shove a charging hose down your esophagus and hook ‘er up to your vacuum pump for a half hour. If that don’t do it call nine-eleven.

I worked at a seafood packing house using ammonia. What your wife said is true but ammonia leaks can spoil the freezer contents also. Seafood going bad also his some rotting odors associated with it along with puking and the runs if you eat it. This odor was of pure ammonia

I love crab legs but what I will eat way too much of is crab cakes. If I have some cold beer and a plate of crabby patty's I'm good for the night.

    KING CRAB

no comparison to others, funny how many down here in texas haven't had it. in restaurants it's 25 bucks on the low end. sams and costco have it at about 12 a lb.

we are so far from alaska, snow crab is the cheap mans savior down here. but way to much work for such a little reward.

i think i'd overdose if i got it as cheap as you all get it up north!

James suffers from an omnipotent super-ego. A malignant psychosis. It may have started in a benign form with the power he felt during masturbation. He just never snapped out of it.

    Forgive him.

I just said the product was contaminated by a ammonia leak. You wouldn't understand that having not worked at that level of refrigeration, yet you and frozen skull do play psychoanalyst on the internet that often bring up homo erotic behavior and masturbation which is often mentioned by other members of the forum. What up with that?

Anyone that cares to read about ammonia refrigerant contaminating food can read this as well about it by Googling it. There is a difference between seafood going bad and seafood contaminated with the refrigerant.Or if you are into fags and masturbation Boyd and Skull will be back.

Handling Recommendations for Shipments of Frozen Seafood by Freezer Ship

    Pre-loading:

Examine the hold for ammonia leaks. Ammonia fumes can adversely affect seafood, rendering it unsalable. Ammonia leaks also indicate that the refrigeration system may be in poor condition. Check the condition of cargo handling equipment. Leaking hydraulic fluid can contaminate the seafood. Breakdowns of faulty equipment also will slow the loading process, resulting in incoming product being held without refrigeration
