Customer using a different brand product or anything different in the product being used recently by any chance? Just trying to think outside the box haha

In that model 1 compressor handles both the hopper and barrel. Is refrigerant leaking past a closed solenoid valve or is the valve stuck/coil voltage not dropping out.

Check the scraper blades for excessive wear. Also check to make sure the screw is spinning inside. Just because the pully is spinning does not mean screw is. the berings can be junk, you can check by how much play you have on the pully.You can also take the machine apart and check buy putting the drive coupler( I think thats what it is called) in and spin the pully. The coupler should spin if it doesent the bering is blown up. Good luck
