Want to add fire place to home
I have a living room wall with a closet on the other side. I have 23 1/2" deepth in closet. Counting sheet rock on living room side and inside closet I have about 27" to work with.
Is there a gas fire place that would fit?Beware of advice given by some guy on the Internet.

Heat & Glow makes a Slim line, but they are vented, if your looking for vent free I'm not sure.

Most any gas direct vent would fit in there. You'd have to check the listed instructions with each fireplace to be sure you can route the vent out but otherwise, sure.
Keep the fire inside the fireplace.

Go direct vent. Just be sure to install per the listed instructions and bldg code, esp. fireblocking and clearances to combustibles. Pick who will service it first and that should steer you towards brands then models.
HTHKeep the fire inside the fireplace.
