Poll: At what point do gas prices kill you?

I know most of you guys either drive company trucks or driving means work and income, still.... at some point it has to hurt.

It still hurts my household because my wife works and her job is 80 miles round trip. There's just so much fighting the working class these days that it's no wonder the economy is in the sewer.

You've got to pass it on to the customer the best that you can. I'm having a harder time with how refrigerant more than doubled overnight.

Where's the poll?

It sucks driving all over this gigantic turdbowl. Depending on the circumstance I can easily spend $75 a day on gas and tolls. I'm quite sure other gigantic cities are just as bad.

High gas prices= many $$$ spent between jobs....

Overhead UP... Profit Down...

I am using a 'trip charge', so I figure I am fairly neutral up to about 3.50$.

I charge what the traffic can bare.......actually the gas prices arent up...its just that our dollar has devalued by 90% since 1913.

I am sure the dollar being devalued with the printing press running full-tilt is affecting gas prices. I am just curious what we can tolerate. Word is out that it may hit six bucks a gallon by summer.

Well I have several vehicles, and one electric....I just use the electric more, only costs me about 3 cents a mile to drive.

You are lucky Roy, most of us cannot afford an electric car. We are going to be doubly screwed when we cannot afford the gas either.

Only paid 3500 plus delivery....

Btw, you can convert pretty much any good roller in to electric, and if you do it right, it would be the last vehicle you would have to purchase, short of rusting or to accident putting it in to a junk yard.
