Gosh, all the coverage in the "un-biased" media would have you believe that Bush and Cheney invented this.

No suprise there. The legacy of corruption in the Clinton-Reno Justice Department is well chronicled.
Much lip service was paid to the rule of law during the Clinton years, primarliy to distract attention from how often it was undermined.

Not invented it, just violated it. Something Clinton never did.

No, you forgot to uncover any evidence that Clinton violated FISA laws.

Well duh! If he claimed authority to order warrantless searches, there's your evidence big boy.

    The legacy of Clinton-Gore....
You can politicize justice, use the Executive Branch to punish political enemies, abuse executive power for personal and political ends, and...get away with it.

It appears all that is required is an absent conscience, yes men, smear artists and a loyal staff of dagger-men.

Nope, Clinton complied with FISA law.

    Perfect description of Bush/Cheney.

Nope. Clinton never observed a law he couldn't circumvent.

And of course there was a warrant for the stack of FBI files at the White House belonging to republican and other Americans the Clinton Administration was rummaging though based on the fact that they considered them a threat to them politically.

No liberal was ever concerned with that, but tap a phone line going to Afghanistan and Iraq and they raise hell.

    Quite correct james.
Clinton used the justice department to do everything from further political candadicies of Hillary and Al to directing INS to change it's immigration policy.
The dumba$$ even pardoned terrorists en' masse after, of course, he was briefed on what a terrorist is.
Oh and then there's the matter of subverting the very independent counsel whose appointment he had recommended.
Oh and he authorized wiretapping to frame loyal White House employees....
