    JCI ADS alarm log

    hello everyone,
    I want to ask if there is a way to discard the alarms of the Metasys ADS from the 'inside'. I know that in M3 there was an alarm log file in a folder called johnson controls/.../ 'active database' that you could replace it with an empty one so the alarm report would reset. I have 611.234 alarms (!) and i don't want to discard 1000 per page....

    I think you can use the Data Base Manager for this.

    I believe somewhere in the Inetpub/www/metasysIII or something like that there is a folder where the alarms are kept that you can wipe them out. I'll do some digging tomorrow to see if I can find out what file it was. Though I'm sure someone else will probably know off the top of their head and come along before too long.
