When I started I wasn't paid for an interview, but i was paid 9 hours for setting up my truck. I'm also paid one and a half hours a week to clean/restock and wash my truck. I am also paid for all my training and I recently was paid 4 hours to take the NATE exam. I don't know if that is normal in a service department to be paid like that, I don't mind haha I used to work for a three man crew installing units. Is it normal for company's to particular about having clean trucks?
that is great!!!!!!!!!!
sounds like a great bosssssssss!
i wash my truck twice a week on my own time and use my own money.
i get it professionally detailed once a year beginning of summer.
I steam clean the interior a couple times a year.
clean and stock on my own time.
I also use the truck a little bit for personal use. not much but every now and then.
I would say I spend 3 hours a week on my truck, guess a couple gallons of gas is a fair trade????????

It gets dirty on their time. It should get clean on their time too, IMO.
Yea my boss is very good to us. He is all about appearance and looking and being professional. I know that this isnt a perfect world but anything i do for the company I work for i should be paid every min for it. after all there his trucks and those are his parts on his truck.
