    Chiller Alarm Notification

I have an account that is a retirement facility that has several chillers that run 24/7. Each building has one chiller and 1 chilled water loop. I'm looking for an inexpensive way to install a device on the alarm contacts on each chiller that will notify the front office or maintenance man when a chiller goes into alarm. They don't need a building automation system since each chiller runs 24/7 and its one chiller per loop/bldg.

Any info will be much appreciated!

I assume that you know most if not all chillers have a set of external alarm contacts.

Wire up a relay circuit that will send an alarm to the desk, either light, audible, or both.

Or are you looking for something wireless?

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes I'm aware of the alarm contacts and I thought of the relay circuit but the complex is several buildings over 9 acres. It would be a major job to pull that much wire. I was thinking of something wireless or something that can send a text message to a cell phone or something like that.

Thanks for the info. I checked out both solutions and they're both good possibilities.
