One on the left even looks like it was painted like a Lennox. Could the left one be a Heil, Moncrief, Frazier Johnson, or Patco? I swear I've seen that raised emblem somewhere. Perhaps a Borg-Warner York?

Give me break, I'm old and wear trifolds. Not saying totally home made but took something and rigged it. Never seen louvers like that on top of a unit, seems like it would be very restrictive but maybe made to blow directional maybe.

Here's a hint but you have to know what old brand he likes: Mayguy would like that unit. Here's a 2nd hint, in the day they might have been an advertiser on WKRP.

Look like opportunities to sell a new system...

Right one looks like a Frederick, the left one looks like one of the old 'thru-the-wall' units. I think 'Magic-Air' (now part of AlliedAir) still makes something similar to them.

These 2 units are long gone, replaced by a friend/coworker & me. The left was in his Mom's place. The right was in one he bought. The Climatrol was a 3.5 ton, we replaced with a 2 ton and a 90% furnace. The left unit was a 1.75 ton, I think we went back with 1.5 ton. Replaced a lowboy relic with a 2 stage 80%.
