where is the pressure releive valve located in the chiller??
On the top of condenser.
Not enough information given to be certain....
generally they will be on the condenser, evap, oil sump if seperate from compressor, discharge line. if a component can be isolated or valved out it can have a relief valve.
the question in the test was, where is the pressure releive valve is located in the refrigeration circuit?
that was not the question you first asked. compressors will also have a internal pressure relief valve.
sorry I was talking a bout the refrigeration circuit not the water circuit.
the refrigerant side is what I am talking about. it can have several relief valves.
Good, so if that is right what is the right place to have that valve the Cond. or the Comp.?
both could be required depends on isolation valve placement.
thank you very much for your help, that was a questuion in my exam which i should have one answer, comp., cond., or evap.
Wow, I see Mustafatel's join date is Mar 2012 and he's banned on March 2, 2012. That's gotta be some kinda record. And he has 36 posts. Must have worn out his welcome....
Yeah, he went ballistic somewhere.
Looks like he failed a test, and decided to ask all his missed questions here, or cheat somehow.
Then got mad when people called him on it.
"Better tell the sandman to stay away, because we're gonna be workin on this one all night."
"Dude, you need more than 2 wires to a condenser to run a 2 stage heatpump."
"Just get it done son."
