No. Just do you ever feel super aware of everything around you?. Kinda like spiderman? I'm being serious.

Totally. I'm always moving out of someone's way before I even see them. I hear their steps or even freakin' feel the air moving around them sometimes as they walk. I can always smell things around me (even when I don't really want to). I notice little movements out of the corners of my eyes. If there is a more interesting story going on somewhere else, I keep nodding but I'm really listening to the TV or whatever. It gets frustrating because I don't like to be touched and am always moving out of others' way, but if I'm going somewhere it seems like people are total idiots and won't do me the courtesy of gettin out of mine.
I know my thinking is flawed (I'm working on it), but at the same time, for 26 years, I thought that everyone was as observant of their surroundings as I was.

I'm not hyperactive either. I have trouble with motivation and concentration. Sometimes, wiring diagrams or tracing piping can really stink... It'll take me a long time to to settle down and get my head around it. Or motivation wise, I'll have a hard time doing PM's, but I'll be fine in an emergency. Paperwork has always been a thorn in my side too.

I think you have selected the right career. Our tasks in HVAC service are usually short focused period of troubleshooting. Then a break by break I mean a change of thought process to plan a repair strategy, then perform the task. Then a great feeling of satisfaction over a job well done and accomplishment!
