See, I was thinking about the MB...or the tp3. Ugh, I can't make up my mind. Not that I can find either one of them.
I have the veto lc that I love and the xl that i've had for 2 or 3 years and still has the tags was just a lill big for my liking. With that being said im look'n for a small diagnostic bag to get me started and hopefully finished with the call without pulling out my 50 lb lc bag. Leaning towards the tp3
What cant be done correctly shouldn't be done at all

Not much room in the MB but it zips up
If I was going to get one for hand tools it would be the TP3
If You Can Dodge A Wrench You Can Dodge A Ball
A TP3 came my way at Christmas time, just not enough room for tools. It just hangs in my van empty...well made bag, but I am just not quite Mcguiver enough for it...
Living the dream !!
Right. I figure everyone who's interested in these two bags just wants a quick diagnostic bag. What do I need...I'm thinking a meter, 6 in 1, two adjustables, channelocks, dykes or wire strippers, jumpers, electric tape, teflon, maybe and infrared thermometer.. I like that the mb zips, but i dont know if i could have my channies and wrenches. I can't seem to find either on line though.
i got myself the tp3 bag. i like it its very useful. the only problem i have with it is that i need to carry some sort of small box with me for the bits and electrical misc stuff. connectors and such. other then that its good. but now i have myself a little case that i bought from lowes that i am able to carry those small stuff in.
Ive been thinking about finding one of those little crown royal bags for connectors, but then I realized some customers might not like that... lol
Hey I will take that xl off your hands. Just ship it to New Jersey. Better yet I think you should invite me to Maui to pick it up. lol. What is the weather like year round there. Whats it like being a working man in Maui when everybody is there on vacation. Looking at all them bikinis. Stay thirsty my friend.
You need to put the phone down and get back to work!
I carry both MB and tp3. MB is a good meter bag, but not much room for any tools with meter. Still both bags are alot lighter than my fully loaded LC for troubleshooting.
not sure if u have lowes in your area but i went to lowes and i found myself a neat pouch. almost like a pencil case but for tools. its rigid and it works well. there is 3 different sizes
blue(small) carries my marrets and electrical accessories yellow(medium) carries my screws and nuts and black (large) carries my drill bits and they all have place where you can slide a belt thru them on the back and i keep my little bits and accessories in them. its made by AWP hopefully my pic show here.
they are now on my lc hvac bag. but its easy to tranfer them over to my tp3 bag. i do also have a little parts box, but i only go into that when i need other stuff. kinda handy for sure.

not sure if im the only one that does this. but i tend to walk into a local hardware store and see their tool section especially In canada we call it Home Hardware. they are a company that tends to invent stuff that is convient. so i go by every so often to see if any new products came in like for example. a few years a go i picked up myself a mini power drill i didnt realize these even exsisted. but i call it my baby. good for small resi jobs putting in a inducer motor and stuff like that. very lite. the people there know me quite well. (-: kinda funny. buying mini pliers and screw drivers and thinking of how this can be useful. some of these tools are useless but some are very handy. thats where i found these little pouches and i think i hit gold with this one. great things to discover when wasting time in a hardware store
I have been looking everywhere for the tech lc bag. No one has them in stock. anyone know where I can find one?
In Canada Toronto i my veto lc at WWG or carrier supplier (samething different store i guess) Masters or Eastern refrigeration. but it might be different in the states. they are always in stock. unfortunetly i dont see a lot of guys using the pouch. thats too bad.
Best thing to do. is the order it online. thats the best option. or get it thru a supplier and have them order it for u. its usually in in a few days its worth it tho. im on the veto train now. full speed ahead (-:
The closest dealer to me is 200 miles away. I can't find one online. I would think veto would sell their product more if it were more available... Idk
I got both from Jason at Ace Tools. Like the TP for trouble stuff, and the MB is just that. A good meter bag. Won't hold the SC76 FP and close the zipper. But,,,,It works with my backup UEI Clamp meter.
One way to outthink people is to make them think you think. They'll think you're not really thinking what you're trying to get them to think you think...........
I just looked and they don't even list the Tech-lc there.
I meant the TPs and MBs. Not sure if the Tech LCs are available yet. I think a couple of guys have been testing them for Veto, and have posted on here saying they're great.
