    Confused How many BTU's does a foot of black pipe transfer?

    Hello, I am a Junior in a Technical High School.. I had gotten an assignment to find out how many BTU's does one foot of black schedule 40 black pipe will transfer with a flow 180 degrees F. I need to find this out for the following pipe sizes 1/2", 1/3", 1", 1 1/4" 1 1/2", and 2". I also have to fins out the same thing for Copper tubing type M pipe without fins and flowing water of 180 degrees F as well. Can I get answers or at least guide me in the directions to find the right answers. I've looked everywhere and cant find anything. I need results in BTU/Foot...
