    Is this doable

    I have customer with a Peterson logset G46-01 burner. it has electronic ignition. It has a box that contains the ignition control module and the battreries, this box sits on the hearth in front of the log set. The question is can i add about 30" to each wire so he can put the box in a cabinet next to his fireplace

    I dont see a reason why not, just make sure the ignition wire is well insulated or it could jump to something other than the pilot hood.
