    Depends...

    You have to ask the manufacturer of the system

    Superheat and subcooling depends on:

    1. The pressure within the system (after compression for subcooling, and after evaporator for superheat), and

    2. The refrigerant used,

    Not SEER or EER.

    Maybe I put this question out there wrong. If you do not have access at the time you are looking at the unit, there is a chart for captube/piston metering for correct superheat ranges, some are located in cycle diagnostics reference books. I was give one awhile back when 13 seer came out, because of the diffence in suction pressure. I know I can buy a palm with all the differnt gases superheat/subcooling information, just trying to get some free information.
