Purchased Haier R410A Heat Pump
HR48D1VAE Heat Pump &
Air Handler HB4800VD1M22
Purchased them at a surplus auction
They are new and under warranty
Before I go an install them, first
1. are they matched
2. Is there prefabbed return air plenum's I can purchase
3. Can I use insulated flexible duct in the attack for the return and supply
I take it you've never done this before.
I would strongly suggest a professional installation.
"Hey Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort." And he says, "there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice. - Carl Spackler
not a split
I have done one package replacement, and one package new install
Have not done a split system with a vertical air handler

Who told you the warranty was still good?
The manufacturer, or the sleezeballs who sold it?
"Better tell the sandman to stay away, because we're gonna be workin on this one all night."
"Dude, you need more than 2 wires to a condenser to run a 2 stage heatpump."
"Just get it done son."
One day I had a customer call me on his cellphone from the surplus place because they had a good deal on a heatpump....My advice was: "WALK AWAY.....No, George, step away from that heatpump deal!!"
Is it the right size?
Is there hidden damage?
These things can come DEAD from the factory.
System is a match.
4 ton 13 SEER 7.7 HSPF which is poor
It's a low end system
A good install will not help that POJ.
You are not going to get any support or sympathy from this site for your situation. DIY against the rules.
Low end is definately right.........

it's the cheapest equipment on the planet..........what could go wrong?
FILL OUT YOUR PROFILE!!
Really cheaply made product with horrible customer service....what more could you want???? Put this stuff on craig's list and let someone else mess with it!!!
P.S. Make the drop point away from where you live as you'll probably not make a friend by selling this stuff to them!!!
You're best off taking it to the scrap yard now and get what you can out of it.
