    Is there a coil under all that dirt? Filter and insulation on the return box looked identical. No wonder the poor Bryant was split wide open. Rental.

    how true that is! Best part is that when they are that bad it usually peels off very easily!

    The ones that I am familiar with had to be cut out and cleaned 3 times.

    This is a perfect example of what I used to see regularly at the school system I just retired from. They expect custodians (who are already overworked) to change filters. It doesn't get done like it should. I am hoping to contract that little chore with them soon. I hate changing filters as much as the next guy, but the service is needed and I need the work!
