New ways to secure flex duct are out!
26+ years in the trade and this was a first for me. A ratchet strap to hold the Supply Flex Duct to the Square to Round! The unit was a 5 Ton Goodman on a 3.5 Ton Load. The electrical is a nightmare and water is pouring in around the duct. Pricing out a complete HVAC Renovation. It probably will not get done.

I'm surprised they invested in the ratchet strap

I have seen flex wrapped with clear red tail light repair tape, 30 little 3" zip ties all put together, masking tape, painted with proseal, tied with rope, but this is definitely a first!
