    Exclamation difference of 3000btu's furnace

is there a substantial difference between a 88000 btu lennox furnace vs. a 91000, it is a small amount but I want to be sure.

Anything less than 20k BTU difference is not substantial IMO because most manufacturers make furnaces in 20k or 25k differences.

The choice of furnace should always be predicated on an accurate Manual 'J' load calculation. That should include both heating and cooling loads so that the appropriate blower can be matched to the furnace. Many furnaces have several different blower options and matching the heating Btu's but ignoring the cooling airflow can be a recipe for disappointment if someone later tries to add AC to an existing furnace. Manual 'J' is the best way to establish the needs.
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.

If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!
